Programming, start-up, after-sales support, project management and design

Under the supervision of the production director, this person is responsible for the overall completion of automation and panel control design projects.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Do programming, in-house testing and on-site start-up
  • Carry out upgrades and troubleshooting on existing or new systems, remotely or on site
  • Plan and carry out projects according to customer needs
  • Design the systems and select required materials
  • Be involved in transferring information to engineering
  • Provide after-sales support
  • Carry out projects on time and on budget
  • Achieve qualitative and quantitative objectives

KNOWLEDGE

  • Programming (PLC, HMI, SCADA)
  • Diagnosis of production equipment control or programming problems
  • PLCs, interfaces, variable speed drives, servo control (servomotors), control and instrumentation
  • Microsoft Office software
  • Basics of communicating with new information technologies
  • Latest technological developments
  • Asset: industrial robot programming

SKILLS

  • Participate in the preparation of quotes quickly and accurately according to customer requirements and Lem capacities
  • Assess the situation, communicate tactfully, quickly identify possible solutions

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • College or bachelor degree in industrial automation
  • Five years of experience in designing and carrying out industrial control and automation projects
